Melt Cosmetics ”Love Sick” Stack

Excited is not the word!!!!

I was looking @ this eyeshadows on Instagram/Youtube for a few months & last week i decided to order them….

They arrived just on time for my Birthday ( i have the best boyfriend 😜).

Here’s a few pictures/swatches before i start talking about them…

From left to right:

LOVE SICK- a beautiful burgundy-red …inspired by their most popular lipstick 6six6. I’ve been on a hunt for a matte burgund-red since last Autumn, this shade is the reason i bought this stack!!!

AMELIE- a perfectly peachy gold, you’ll want to add it all over Cheeks! Highlight! Eyes!

PROMISCUOUS- a beautiful color changing violet-blue! Use it alone, or combine it with black to reveal a completely different shade! Amazing & unique again…

FIXATED – a gorgeous matte grey inspired by one of their favorite lipsticks, Space Cake, so pigmented and cool you have to see it to believe it…

Ok… Lets start with the packaging… They are all stacked together because of the magnet. You can stack all shadows into one big palette, create new palettes, or just stack two or three shadows. The magnets are strong and stay in place well. Pretty & organised, great for your makeup kit.

They are all very pigmented so a little goes a long way. Easy to blend too… Love sick & Fixated are matte while Amelie & Promiscuous are shimmery.

Price: $48 ( i had to pay shipping & custom too).

Some will say they are pricey… I say they are worth it!!

They are double the size of Mac Eyeshadows….

Overall i’m in love !!

There will be few looks in the next days, so watch this space!!

Haul/Product Reviews

”Another Mac Mini Haul”

Hello everybody….

I know i’ve been AOL but really haven’t got a chance lately to post anything… I’m back now with a mini haul from MAC.

Ok,soo… My eyebrows needed an update & after doing a bit of research to see what you girls are using lately I deceided to go for MAC Fluidline Eyeliner Gel in Dipdown as so far i’ve tried pencil, eyeshadow & dye for my Eyebrows. I use the MAC 263 angled brush to apply it. My review for this so far is 10/10 because is really creamy, easy to apply & the colour is very natural & ofcourse there’s lots in the pot!

Second product would be the MAC softpoint sponge. I always wanted to try one of this little sponges. I used it damped & dry but i like it most dry. I like to use it for concealer & foundation only. You can also use it for cream blush, highlighter, to contour & to powder. It is really good for around the nose area as with the foundation brush i always had problems getting the foundation to be flawless. So, another product love…

Lastly is a repurchase for my eyebrows again, the MAC brow set gel in clear. I use this to keep my eyebrows at bay… I have very fair brows but they tend to drop so i need this magic gel to keep them in place.

So, that’s it for now… See uou next time with a eyelook…

Hope you all enjoyed it….

”Pop of Pigment”

Day 17 of 100 Days of Makeup.

I love using ”pop of colour” on the inner corner of the eye, under bottom lashes & on the middle of the eye lid also so called spoteye…

For today’s look i wanted to try some pigment on the inner corner of the eye & here’s the result.

As you know by now i always start with the eyes first.

I preped my eyes with MAC prolongwear concealer, NC25. In the crease of the eye & outter corner i applied Folie eyeshadow by MAC with my 217 blending brush, also by MAC. On the lid i used INGLOT AMC shine no.7 eyeshadow which is the golden one. For the pop of colour i went for MAC fuchsia pigment & to apply i used a flat synthetic brush & sprayed it with a little MAC fix+ .

To finish the look i used MAC smolder pencil on the waterline (top & bottom), COLLECTION extreme black eyeliner & CLINIQUE power lash mascara in black.

For my usual eyebrows routine, see previous posts.

I paired this look with candy yum yum lipstick by MAC.

Hope you all like it…

       Here’s the look for the 15th day…

I love using Purple & Gold together.

I always start with the eyes so if there is any fall down eyeshadow i won’t have to clean the already made face.

MAC Smolder eye pencil on the top & bottom waterline. Next i did my winged eyeliner with Collection extreme black felt tip eyeliner. Mascara Lash Power in Onyx Black by Clinique.

Usual Eyebrows using my Clinique Superfine eyebrow pencil in 03 Deep Brown & set them with MAC clear gel.
